If I ever have to choose between having a dog or a cat, as the title suggests, definitely the cat.
Dogs are emotionally shallow. Come home, wagging their little tails, kind of happy to see you... That's for person who are insecure, who need assurance.
When you yell at a dog, his tail will go between his legs and cover his genitals, his ears will go down... Dog is very easy to break. But cats make you work for their affection and they don't sell out the way dogs do.
Well, I might have borrowed a couple lines from "meet the parents", but I really like cats better than dogs.
They are quiter, they don't take shit everywhere, they can be thrown to the wall (?) and they are cool. Cool in the way they move, cool in the way they play and cool in the way they eat. Cats are like little tigers while dogs are like... you know, dogs.
For some unknown reason, most of my male cousins love to have pets. Weird pets. Ed used to have a huge Iguanas around all the time and Jerry... his room is like a jungle... with snakes, mice, fish... and something more...
While I'm not really a pet person, the only pet I can see myself having is fish. Like the one Jake has, a huge tank in the middle of the room with a lotta of fish in there. I think it's beautiful and classy. Plus, the only thing you need to do to a modern aquarium is to feed the fish. How easy is that? Best pet ever for lazy people like me. ^_^

I'd like to think dogs as trustworthy and worm-hearted companions, something that cats can never become.

last night i was on the phone with my friend. as we were talkinga about pets, he told me he wants a dog, dog is better than gf, because no matter how u treat him, he always love u. the i said, buy and dog and dump ur gf..heehee...
then he said, but gf knows how to flush the toilet, and u need to pick up after dogs.... =.= cute....
i got hamsters before, now i have a dog and some guppy fishes....
eh.. to the anonymous girl... birdy usually means no harm. plz no personal attack. next time if you think he's wrong, just point out his error.
being mad in words and attacking other's brain usually doesn't help..

Some jokes are inappropriate.
Sure, you can say girl jokes in a chauvinism hoggery.
Next time you come to New York, try to say a black joke in Eastside and tell them that "Wahahahahaha!!!!I guess someone just can't have a little bit of fun in their life, can't even take a joke right." and "Sorry, I should have made the joke more obvious."
And I'll see how many seconds you will be able to stay alive.
