What's up with me and sleep-over-on-a-train?
...
8 in the morning, and it's her birthday.
Happy B-Day~
...
Yesterday I've WoW-ed till 5 in the morning. Woke up by 12 and called Yuki. He was somewhat pissed because I woke up too late.
He has a Ritz reunion at 6:30 so we didn't have lots time to meet. I guess that's why.
We decided to meet at Nagoya station's famous clock tower by 1:30, and I left with Daphne by 1:00.
She had a little fight with James coz she mysteriously lost her quest item the 2nd time. Never reading the quest is her biggest problem.
...
It only takes 30 min. with the slowest train from Tsushima (where Daphne lives) to Nagoya. And I've arrived the Clock tower by 1:35.
This golden clock tower somewhat reminded me of Taiwan Sogo main entrance's muscial clock. They have one thing in common - everyone waits around these clocks.
I was doing absolutely nothing but waiting from 1:35 to 2:30. Yuki was waiting for my call at the other end of the station and was too lazy to come up and check. I have no clue why is he so lazy.
It was raining like hell, so we have to cancel our plan to Nagoya Castle and decided to eat some omelette first.
Omelette...? I thought he meant the crumbling egg thing. But it turns out to be curry egg with rice. It was delicious. I should have ordered the L size. Changed to M coz the sweet mistress warned me about how big the L is.
But I should have ordered the L size.
The omelette place is right beside my dreamland - pokemon park. Too bad it was raining like hell, otherwise I would have enjoyed that magical place more than I should have.
Well, I was still very delighted to see all the rides and stuff, but we just can't go any closer than that because I don't want to stay in the rain for too long. My shoes was all wet and it was disgusting.
After the lunch, we stayed in arcade all afternoon.
Arcades in Japan is very very different than arcades elsewhere.
Or at the very least, very different than arcades back in Taipei or Vancouver.
It felt like home... (?)
Well, there are two things I liked the most about arcades in Japan. First of all, there are gosu everywhere. And it's already an wonderful experience to see them playing. It's like watching a stun or something.
Take Ghost Recon for example, it's a new shooting game just came out like 3 month ago (I guess). And there was this guy head-shot every enemy pops out from the screen. I've watched and awed for 30 min...
The 2nd thing I like about Jap Arcade is that no matter how old you are, you won't feel awkward spending your time in there. People dressed in suits are playing, people dressed like a worker are playing (the ghost recon guy) and lots of cute girls are in there too.
Back in taipei or vancouver's arcade, one can only find teenage guys and guys only. That's sad.
2 arcades but no 3s.
Doesn't really matter since i'm still suck at 3s.
The highlight of that day was when I won the Grand Prize while playing Evangelion Pachingo machine. The rewarding session kept running for like an hour. So I just sit there and kept shooting and shooting and shooting. Atsushi came and left with Yuki coz it was 6:20 already but I had to stay since the rewarding session was still running.
Grand prize rocks...
My feet was still all wet while I left the arcade at 7.
I was super tired and just want to get home and take a nice shower.
...
Was proud of myself that I've spend the past 5 weeks in Taiwan and never once slept over on the train. Well, I guess it's because I get to stay at trutle's all the time so I don't have to go back to Shu-Lin at all the wierd times.
But it doesn't matter, I've never slept over and I thought I was cured from the sleeping over disease. I was wrong.
First time I took train from Nagoya to Tsushima, I slept over.
It was suppose to be a 30 min. ride but took me 150 min. coz I rode the train all the way to Gifu...
Gifu is Yuki's Hometown, a very remoted city full of monkeys and trees.
When I finally get home, it was almost 10.
I'm just that good at sleeping on a train, I have to admit.

Weather forecast says it's gonna rain all day today as well.
And the rain ruined most of my plans.
It's Yuki's last holiday, what are we going to do today?
